ChessMaster is a browser chess game. The core board runs in your browser. When Merlin AI is enabled, the app sends the current board, legal moves, difficulty, and recent move history to secure server-side API routes so an AI service can return a move, hint, or review.

Information We Process

• Gameplay state such as board position, legal moves, move history, difficulty, and game result.
• Technical request data handled by hosting and security systems, such as IP address, browser metadata, timestamps, and server logs.
• Advertising data handled by Google AdSense and its advertising partners when ads are served.

AI Features

AI move, hint, and review requests are handled through server-side API routes. API keys are stored in protected environment variables and are not exposed to the browser. Do not enter personal information into gameplay or review requests.
